With the Federal Government’s new GST Rebate for first-time buyers, there’s never been a better time to purchase new. Qualifying buyers can receive a 100% rebate on the GST for homes valued up to $1 million—a savings of up to $50,000.
To be eligible, you must:
- Be a first-time homebuyer purchasing a newly built home
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident
- Plan to live in the home as your primary residence
